“In an exhibition that engages in a series of dialogues between words and images, Victoria Bone takes up the challenge. She attacks what she sees as the dominance of words in the presentation visual art. She literally eats page upon page of words in a confrontation with “the pressure on artists to use pretentious and inaccessible academic language - a sign that they position themselves higher than others, putting self-importance before professionalism.”
