Artists Rowland and Porch are both keenly influenced by the natural world in their textile art.

Milly Rowland makes work inspired by an idea of overlaid ecology and the fragility of incredibly complex ecosystems like coral reefs, mixed with creatures she imagines. Lisa Porch's work is based around the notion of mourning and the passage of time as experienced with various ecosystems. Patricia Brien the curator will be in discussion with the two artists
