Willie Robb will be displaying three images, from his ‘Spike’ series.

"The images were influenced by a rising homeless population in my home town Brighton. I crushed weeds / flowers breaking through the pavement into large format film and shone a little blue light onto them creating an outline around the organic stain. Serendipity, intention and destruction play equal parts in their creation.” Willie, Robb, 2018.

Robb’s photogram’s contrast classic themes of Still Life.  He satirises the genre by creating work about the forgotten in society, whilst using a format typically associated with wealth and abundance.
