About Fringe Arts Bath (FaB)
Fringe Arts Bath brings art to the people and visitors of Bath by occupying empty shops, unusual spaces and spilling out onto the streets of the City, with an annual festival, an art prize, and other ad-hoc interventions throughout the year.
Fringe Arts Bath is a platform for early career curators and emerging artists. As a test-bed for new and exciting ideas, FaB offers opportunity for creatives to share their work, develop professional skills by taking part, and even curating exhibitions.
Fringe Arts Bath Festival of visual arts runs in May/June every year, with two weeks of contemporary exhibitions, events and workshops, free for all to see.
FaB grew out of Bath Fringe Festival, branching out as its own organisation in 2007. We continue to work together with the ‘big Fringe’ as their cheeky little sister…
The committee organising FaB are all volunteers and do it for their love of the visual arts. If you want to see more art happening in Bath as much as we do, please see our donate/support/volunteer page. We are always keen to hear from prospective volunteers and supporters throughout the year!
