Mayor of Bath to flip the first pancake

The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Bath Cherry Beath will follow in the footsteps of ex-Mayors Councillor Andrew Furze in 2013 and Councillor Malcolm Lees in 2014, and flip the first pancake to declare Bath's Flippin' Pancake Race open.

Mrs Beath has chosen Bath’s creative community as a theme for her year in office, she is President of the Mid-Somerset Festival, sits on both the Cultural Forum and Bath Festivals boards, and you've probably seen her at a few exhibition private views and cultural events around the area.

We look forward to The Mayor joining us to celebrate pancakes, Food Cycle, nonsense and Shrove Tuesday on 17th Feb outside the Abbey at 3.30pm, and are greateful for her support. Hopefully we’ll see you there too.
