Idolized Greek demigods have devolved over time and appear now as guitar heroes, expressing individuality, freedom and sexuality through apparent virtuosity.  Ecstatic and tragic, optimistic and melancholic, these figures roam through epic and bleak landscapes.  
There is a conflation of screaming, crunching, metallic guitars and vast mountainous landscapes; the landscape is a manifestation of the sound.  The easily identifiable celebrity is shunned in favor of cult figures, those individuals who quietly influenced our heroes.
