There's no place like home.
That’s right, we have found ourselves, hopefully you will find us too.
FaB 1, 94-96 Walcot Street BA1 5BG
FaB 1 returns to our home of the last 5 years in this double-fronted Walcot Street wonder, formerly The Looking Glass. We’ll fill the 4 floors with extraordinary works, you’ll find Fantastic and Strange things, personal places and spaces in Enshrine, photography reclaimed in 36 Exposures, Disordered States brings us through some challenging frames of mind, Dead|Line will evolve, grow & change, you’ll discover whether Size Matters or not.
We occupied this space years and years ago, most recently it was Long Tall Sally (opposite Rossiter & Taka Taka). We’re tackling what you might think is Dull and proving that it’s not, blasting colours, emojis & memes at you with .GIF, and presenting the best from Cardiff Arcade Studios’ freshest painting scene.
FaB 3, 15 New Bond Street BA1 1BA
The FaB Photomarathon will spread across the ground floor walls once again in the former Bloomsbury store, come find the Holburne’s Gardners Lodge Art Group hidden in the corner (not all of them), and pick up a unique Postcard: a different view of Bath designed specially for #FaB19. Rambling through the 5 floors you’ll find your Self, experience dating like you hopefully never will again through 21st Century Neanderthal, spend time considering a female perspective with This Woman’s Work and listening to the place in Telling Spaces.
FaB @ Walcot Chapel, Walcot Gate BA1 5UG
Just past the Bell Inn, off Walcot Street the chapel awaits. Come stroll down the musical, visual, physical & virtual Deviation Street inside the chapel, and take part in Mud’s series of workshops and sculptures inside and throughout the gardens.
FaB @ Milsom Place, Unit 20, Lower Level BA1 1DN
Making the Hidden visible, tucked into the depths of this beautiful development we return to Milsom Place’s underbelly. (It’s just a 2 min walk behind FaB 2, or down the steps from Anemone on Milsom St)
FaB @ 44ad Artspace, 4 Abbey Street BA1 1NN
Our wonderful friends at 44ad are housing us once again. Descend into the basement gallery to see The Workshop’s space of machines and their place in our lives. Discover the winners of the Bath Open Art Prize on the ground floor, and vote for your favourite to win the People’s Choice.
