Bath Carnival 16th August
A day of festival fun, music, art, carnival dance, and you can be part of the performance.
The day itself will begin in the centre of Bath, where Sydney Gardens will host a range of free, fun and festival themed activities for children and families. Local bands will take to the stage whilst people gather, prepare and rehearse for the grand parade. Bring your family and friends, your glitter and feathers, and join the team in a Rio inspired, community uniting, captivating Carnival Day!
Don’t wait until the 16th to get involved:
In the build-up to the Carnival day, you can take part in FREE Carnival workshops and make a costume, learn to dance or drum. Register by selecting the workshops you want to attend on the Bath Carnival website www.bathcarnival.co.uk
If you would like to appear in the carnival procession, you’ll need to attend both workshops at your chosen venue, or the one-day at the Holburne Museum.
