Seam is a new contemporary textile collective started by recent MA Design: Fashion & Textiles graduates.
The group consists of emerging printers, embroiderers, knitters, weavers, dyers, fashion designers, eco-designers, makers and artists, who all want to make textiles that are irresistible, and find their way on to your body, your house and on your walls.
seam collectives share a commitment to pushing the boundaries of our craft and making high quality objects realised through the hands and thoughts of the maker. They hope to make a sustainable living from textiles, work locally and bring textiles into contemporary focus.
Seam’s first exhibition (introducing seam) kicks off at 44AD next month.
Private view Monday 2 December, 6-8pm
Exhibition continues 3-8 December.
